Perhaps Matchbox fell out with BMW? The gorgeous Jagermeister BMW had been one of the best cars in the Powertrack line up. It oozed drama and charisma.
First came the Orange and Yellow striped variant for the Euro PT-6100. This was very seventies - in a not-cool way.
However, what were Matchbox thinking of to create this version? Its repulsive! Not only is it a crime against aesthetics its also a crime against motorsport fans. On the panel on the right is a BMW that screams a racing livery! We wanted a black one with cool stripes, but instead we got this.
Cream? I'm speechless...
This BMW is also plentiful. According to ebay legend, a company rescued(?) these from a warehouse fire and hundreds of charred and scarred examples are in circulation. Hmm, lovely.
